Welcome We’re glad you’re here!

Have a look around, ask questions, and even set up a visit so we can be ready to greet you when you arrive. Join us on a weekend, check out an online worship service, or join us for dinner and programming on Wednesday nights during the school year. We’d love to meet you!

New Here?

Trying out a church for the first time can cause anxiety. We know, because we’ve been there before, too! Many of us at Church of the Shepherd remember what it was like to come through the doors for the very first time, or even take the first step to know who Jesus is. Because of that, we want to take the pressure off. Here’s what you can expect at weekend worship:

Worship Services

You’ll find a relaxed, family atmosphere with three service styles each weekend: Traditional, Blended, and Contemporary. Worship services last about an hour. Each service begins with music and singing to guide our hearts to encounter God. One of our pastors then shares a relevant biblical message, which is the same in all three services, and we have the chance to respond to God in personal prayer or song. Children and youth programming is also available during and in between both services.

We also stream our Sunday morning services live online so you can join us there, too.

Saturdays, 5 pm (Traditional)
Sundays, 9:15 am (Blended)
Sundays, 10:45 am (Contemporary)
Live Stream each Sunday, 9:15 am and 10:45 am ›

There is not a set dress code, so feel free to wear what you normally wear. When you visit, you’ll see a range of casual to dressy casual. We gather in an atmosphere that can feel like a family gathering at times, and like family, we love the truth that God accepts us just as we are. We don’t expect you a certain way, because God doesn’t either.

You won’t go hungry here! Our Cafe, located in the Lobby, serves up pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, danishes and breakfast burritos on Sunday mornings, and you can enjoy fresh-baked cookies each Saturday evening. If you’re a guest with us for the first time, your breakfast is on us! Coffee, tea and hot cocoa are always available as well. Make yourself at home, and feel free to bring your coffee into worship with you.

If it’s your first time with us, or you’d like to learn more about what is offered during the week, stop by the Guest Services desk in the Lobby before or after worship. We have a small gift for you as a welcome and hope we can help make your visit with us as smooth as possible.

Director of Connections Ministry

“I am passionate about helping people find purpose and meaning for their lives, because I too know what it feels like to be searching for something more. Through Jesus, we learn that we are loved, forgiven, and accepted just who we are, we find the freedom and purpose we have been seeking.

If you are ready to take your next step toward knowing Jesus, growing to be more like him, and living a life with purpose and meaning, come join us! I would love to personally chat with you to help you take your next step in faith. We encourage you to come and have a conversation with us, let’s start where you are now.”

We knew that we had found a church home from our first visit. What impressed us were the people and their heart for Jesus and for each other. Through COS we have strengthened our relationship with Jesus and with our friends.

Kevin Shepard

Our family heard so many good things about COS from friends of ours- so we decided to come and see what it was all about. I was 7 years old and went to the children’s program, ‘Soul Street’. I was so nervous at first, but the teachers were really nice and welcoming. Now that I’m older, I am part of the youth group (6-12 grade) and really love all the service opportunities that COS provides. Even at a very young age, my sister and I experimented many different ways to serve at church and in the community… I am excited to grow my faith at COS!
