Love  Your  Neighbors

Loving our neighbors safely may look differently but there are still opportunities to love each other.  Simple things like taking time to check on someone or build a relationship of love and care is essential in a time of isolation.  As we all feel the fatigue of social distancing and the coming of winter months, know your gift of compassion and care is a true exercise of loving your neighbor.

Check on your neighbors, your small group members, and other social connections. Send an encouraging message or call them and let them know you're thinking about them. Especially ask your elderly and at-risk connections if they need anything and offer to assist them to your comfort level.

Social media can be a great tool for caring for our neighbors – you can set up or join a Facebook group for your neighborhood or use an app like Nextdoor.

If you don’t know your neighbors yet, consider using the Hello Neighbor! template to introduce yourself and offer help.
Thank you for your continued willingness and desire to love our neighbors.  Through your generosity lives have been changed and our mission partners have continued to do amazing things.  Continue to keep checking back here for ways you can serve and how you can support our ministry partners.

Blessings and prayers to each of you,

Denise Spalding
