February Food  Drive

Bless you all for your continued generosity in supporting our partner, FISH Food Pantry and our Backpack Buddies Program. We will continue to host Pop Up Drives to meet their most immediate needs, so check back here for updated lists and dates! Thank you again for your love and care for our community.

Our next Food Drive for FISH Food Pantry and our COS Backpack Buddies program, will happen on Sunday,  February 7, 1 - 3:00 PM .
Note: This will happen in conjunction with our Drive-Thru Communion Time! Thank you for Extending Our Table!

Items will be dropped off at Church of the Shepherd. To donate, place your donation in the trunk or back of pick up, drive up in front of the church and remain in your car.  A volunteer with gloves and a mask will take your donations out of your vehicle to avoid any contact.

Please note we are asking you to participate only IF you are already going to the store, placing an online order, or have items to share. We are not encouraging you to go out to make a special shopping trip!

To help protect our volunteers, please donate non-expired, un-opened products and use proper hand washing and sanitation techniques before you drop them off.

You are invited to drop off much needed food items on the list below for both FISH Food Pantry and our COS backpack buddies program:

  • Body Lotion
  • Canned Chicken
  • Canned chili
  • Canned tuna (5-7oz)*
  • Canned vegetables
  • GoGo Squeeze Applesauce (3.2 oz pouches)*
  • Hamburger Helper
  • Mac and Cheese (6-8 oz boxes)*
  • Peanut Butter
  • Quaker Oats Oatmeal (large or small cylinders)
  • Soup (anything but Tomato or Vegetable)
  • Tuna Helper
(No expired food, please!)
THANK YOU for your willingness and desire to help! Everyone has been impacted by the issues related to COVID-19.  It is hard to wrap our heads around what now has become our new normal.  We will continue in conversation with our ministry partners and as we do so we will update pieces on this page as things unfold.  In the meantime, lean into the comfort that comes from the God who loves us and is always with us.

Blessings and prayers to each of you,

Denise Spalding
