Did you know COS worships each week at four locations? In addition to our main campus, Community Worship Leaders share worship services at the Fairwinds and Brookdale senior living communities as well as The Villages of St. Peters Memory Care Unit. Between 40-70 neighbors gather each week for prayer, singing, a short message, and a warm welcome as part of our COS worshiping community. Making all of this possible is a team of Lay Servants who share the message, musicians who play an instrument or lead the singing, and a group of Loving Touch servants who provide the ministry of care by welcoming, holding a hand, assisting with communion and talking with neighbors. This requires a team of 10-12 people each week to share in this ministry on a rotating basis. On Tuesday, September 11th, we will gather to celebrate all that this group does, as well as provide details about the upcoming Lay Servant training that will be offered on October 6th here at COS . Any folks who would like to find out more about joining in this meaningful and impactfull ministry are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Join us for conversation and pie on September 11 here at COS to find out more. Please RSVP to Rochelle Meyer (firstname.lastname@example.org) by September 10th. For more information on the Lay Servant Training on October 6th, please follow the link below:
